This 4 foot portable wheelchair ramp is designed to cross over thresholds or small steps. The portable ramp folds in half and is extremely easy to use and install. The wheelchair ramp features a built in handle for carrying to the installation site and is made of rust proof aluminum. The folding ramp is very light at only 16 pounds and can easily fit in the trunk of a vehicle.

ADA recommends a maximum height rise of 1 inch for every 12 inches of travel. This portable wheelchair ramp would be recommended for a maximum rise of 8 inches. Safety pins are attached to the ramp to secure the ramp together when it is folded as well as provide a mechanism to secure the ramp to the surface when in use. Two holes will need to be drilled in order to utilize the proper safety or this ramp.
